There are currently more than 50 students from the PRC studying in law programs at Bond University, and Bond Law also has ethnic Chinese students and faculty members from Australia and other countries. This study shows that the gap between Chinese-Australian and other Australian students is best explained by differences in motivation to achieve, attributing success to effort, the influence of parental help and the use of extra mathematics curricula.
